We look forward to December every year at The Grand Hotel as it means it's time to bring out the Christmas decorations and add a little sparkle to everyone's stay.

Enter the lobby to the scent of boozy warm mulled wine, German beer, Bratwurst and mince pies complimentary upon arrival (served from 2pm - 6pm)

Enjoy a delightful three course dinner on the Saturday Night* from our special festive dinner menu with magical entertainment from our fabulous magician, Chris Hurst.

Awake to a Grand cooked breakfast each morning and chill out in our exclusive leisure club on a lazy afternoon.

To extend your festive weekend you can also add the Sunday night for only £75 bed & breakfast.

Terms & Conditions

This offer is only applicable to selected weekends in December for a minimum of two nights.

The offer is to be booked using the Special Offer 'Festive Weekends' rate.

The 3 course dinner on Saturday is to be taken from the Festive Menu.

Booking Guarantee & Cancellation Policy

Flexible - 24 Hours

Credit/Debit card details will be required to secure your reservation.

  • No payment will be taken until arrival or in the event of non-arrival.
  • You may cancel or modify your reservation at any time up to 2pm the day before arrival (24 hours prior to arrival)
  • Payment for you package is due on arrival at the hotel
  • In the event of a no-show or late cancellation the full amount of the booking is chargeable.
25% Deposit

A non refundable 25% deposit is required to confirm the booking.

  • Payment will be registered on your confirmation.
  • All prepayments and deposits are non-refundable.
  • The deposit can be transferred to another day if modified prior to 7 days before arrival.
  • Non arrivals and cancellations received after this time will be charged one nights accommodation, this amount will automatically be debited from your credit card without prior notice, if we are unable to re-let the room we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the reservation.
  • Travel insurance is recommended
Package Deposit - 30 Days

A non refundable £300 deposit is required to confirm the booking.

  • Payment will be registered on your confirmation.
  • All prepayments and deposits are non-refundable.
  • The deposit can be transferred to another day if modified prior to 2pm 30 days days before arrival.
  • Non arrivals and cancellations received after this time will sacrifice the full deposit. If we are unable to re-let the room we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the reservation.
  • The remaining package balance is due for payment on check in. Any extras accumulated during the stay are due on check out.
  • Travel insurance is recommended
£100 Deposit - 7 Days

£100 deposit will be taken upon booking:

  • Payment will be registered on your confirmation.
  • All prepayments and deposits are non-refundable.
  • Non arrivals and cancellations received after this time will be charged one nights accommodation, this amount will automatically be debited from your credit card without prior notice, if we are unable to re-let the room we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the reservation.
  • Travel insurance is recommended
Full Pre-Payment

Full pre-payment will be taken upon booking:

  • Once booked it cannot be refunded
  • Canceling your reservation or failing to arrive will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
  • Modifying your reservation may incur additional charges.
  • Travel insurance is recommended.
1 Night Deposit

A non refundable 1 night deposit is required to confirm the booking.

  • Payment will be registered on your confirmation.
  • All prepayments and deposits are non-refundable.
  • The deposit can be transferred to another day if modified prior to 7 days before arrival.
  • Non arrivals and cancellations received after this time will be charged one nights accommodation, this amount will automatically be debited from your credit card without prior notice, if we are unable to re-let the room we reserve the right to charge the full cost of the reservation.
